ETHIC DTC Osmose ceramic Headset

The Ethic Osmose Ceramic headset was developed to be the ultimate headset.

It features the unique dimensions of Ethic’s Oracle headset, the only bearing specifically designed for freestyle riding with tailored geometry, ball sizes, and tolerances.

The key difference is that the standard steel balls have been replaced with high-precision ceramic balls (grade 5), which are 20% more durable.

The result is significantly reduced friction, allowing the handlebars to spin more freely than ever, even when the compression system is tightened.

Since ceramic is lighter than steel, and thanks to the optimized geometry of the bearing and cap, this headset is by far the lightest available at just 46g.

The top cap design is also unique, featuring direct contact between the handlebars and the compression ring (made of 7075 T6 aluminum) with a silicone top cap surrounding it. This eliminates the break-in period, where the system normally needs time to reach its final deformation. (Requires less frequent tightening).

Note: The compression ring is not compatible with IHC compression systems.
