Bauer's strategy in achieving this upmarket skate was to use various materials and technologies for each part. For instance, the quarter package was made using 3D lasted Curv composite technology to provide both lightness and stiffness. This enhances power transfer for more powerful movements. The combination of stiffness and lightness also offers players improved responsiveness on the ice while ensuring foot support. The Pro Stock tongue is renowned for its use in upmarket skates, providing superior foot protection, optimal comfort, ankle support, and reducing pressure points.

During intense physical efforts, feet stay dry thanks to the sublimated hydrophobic microfiber lining material, which wicks away sweat and moisture. The comfort foam in the footbed contributes to the player's comfort and absorbs shocks, similar to the AEROFOAM ankle paddings. AEROFOAM too make the skates lighter, allowing players to execute faster and smoother movements. The skate's interior offers each player a personalized experience with the thermoformable effect, which provides a precise fit to the foot and evolves as the foot grows. The digi comp design of the outsole provides stiffness in strategic areas to offer better foot support and improved skate responsiveness on the ice.

The skates feature Tuuk Lightspeed Edge blade holders, which offer precise and customized blade adjustment known to withstand impacts. Players require no tools to adjust the height or tilt of the blade. The Pulse SS blades of the Bauer Supreme M40 skates are designed to withstand wear and tear while also enhancing players' performances, particularly their stability and grip on the ice.
