Important:

The Black Toe Stop is designed exclusively for high-level athletes who meet specific technical and physical strength requirements during the push-off phase.

It is not recommended for lighter-built athletes. In such cases, we suggest the Cappuccino or Ambra models.

Compatibility Warning

There are two types of threading for toe stops: US (imperial) threading and EU (metric) threading. These correspond to the threading of your plates and are the first major distinction to consider when choosing your stoppers.

Most quad skate and plate brands, such as Riedell, Sure-Grip, and Mota, are American and therefore use imperial (US) threading. As a result, the majority of toe stops designed for roller derby also follow this standard.

Interestingly, even Chaya, a European brand, manufactures its plates and toe stops with US/imperial threading.

However, special attention is needed with Roll Line, a well-known European brand. Their plates use metric (EU) threading, but they offer toe stops compatible with both EU and US threading.
