The Sure-Grip story began in 1936 with the manufacture of the rubber inlay wheel for roller skates invented by brand founder John L. Wintz. The revolution in the skating industry was initiated with the replacement of wooden wheels with stronger rubber wheels with better grip. In 1945, the first Sure-Grip skate was born. Since then, the brand has continued to innovate in terms of design with the use of light and strong materials in order to offer practitioners quality products at reasonable prices.
