Mesmer Skates

The idea for Mesmer Skates Brand began in 2020, when company founder Billy O'Neill contacted Matthias Knoll of Powerslide in the hope of bringing the legendary Classic Throne shoe molds back into production.

Initially, these molds were considered unsalvageable. They hadn't been used in years and simply weren't in the condition needed to produce skates. After some back and forth with the manufacturers, they were finally able to reintroduce an updated version of the Classic Throne boot.

The boot and cuff of John Bolino's Pro model are made from a material never before seen in inline skate production. PEBAX is a new miracle material designed for high-performance sportswear that combines two different chemistries (polyether and polyamide) on the same spine while retaining the performance properties of both. In simple terms, polyether enables flexibility and elasticity, while polyamide provides enormous lightness, strength and energy return. This provides a durable, lightweight skate that will never deform over time, while being totally resistant to the cold.

Their ultimate goal was to reintroduce a classic mold thought lost with exciting new features that can deliver an awesome skating experience.
